You can change the font size under Edit > Preferences > Interface.
If you are using an older version of Lightroom, the largest size may not be large enough, but if it's LR6/CC, you should be able to get readable text.
I am using LR4 and have tried that. Still to small.

When Ligtroom 4 was released, high resolution monitors were not so common yet.
Others may advise you to reduce the resolution of your monitor, but I would not recommend that.
Modern displays are designed to be used at their native resolution, and will not perform well at other resolutions.
You will not get a true impression of your images, they will appear less sharp, and you may be mislead to oversharpen them.
I would suggest upgrading to LR6, which will work much better with your monitor, or subscribe to the Creative Cloud Photography Plan - Photoshop and Lightroom for $10 a month.
