    200%+ CPU Late 2014 Dual Core i7 3.0 GHz 16GB Mac Mini

I've just purchased Lightroom & Photoshop CC to compliment my new Mac Mini. I believed the above specification would be more than enough to run Lightroom smoothly -- given my dual core 2012 MBP 2.5 GHz 16GB ran Lightroom CC with no issues. However, I'm having a torrid time so far. Everything is extremely slow. Even when simply activating the grid lines, I'm having to wait 3-4 seconds for a response. Brushing is a nightmare as well.

I've tried disabling the GPU option, but this has only improved things marginally. Performing light tasks is still taking up 200% of my CPU.

Anyone know what I can do about this?
