I've had this program since 2011. Now the license agreement box pops up when I try to open the exe file or any of the documents I created with it. I enter my product serial number and it gives me a green check but then says it can't find a "qualifying product." When I try to add the serial number to my product list on my account, it won't accept the number. Meanwhile I can't open my indd files.
This product has a bit of history. It was an economy version for a nonprofit. I got a new computer so had to call customer support to allow me to transfer it over. I have not tried the phone line but the chat support directed me to the forum. I just wonder why it is happening now, all of a sudden, and how to get it activated again.
What operating system?
Windows 10 pro. But we are thinking it might have something to do with our system upgrade and then reorganizing the drives into 4 or 5 new sections (I forget what you call them). We moved the program files onto a new section and it might have messed up the registry. Does this make sense? We have to try some things.
I remember having a similar problem last year and eventually Customer Support just gave me a code to reactivate the program.
