Hey guys, so I have a master page spread set up for all my pages with text frames and frame boxes for images. I have no trouble editing text or placing images on the LEFT PAGE of a page spread (often having to use ctrl + shift). However when I try to do anything on the RIGHT PAGE it acts like nothing there exists. Images can't be put into frame boxes, they just go wherever I click them. I can't edit the text frames. If I try to hold ctrl + shift and click on anything, *everything on the right page disappears*. So basically the program refuses to believe that anything on the right page spread from the master page exists, and if I try to hold ctrl + shift to edit anything then it all disappears anyways. Help!
Okay I think I just figured it out coincidentally. I'll post what happened here if anyone else has this problem. I had a big colored rectangle as the background of the entire page spread (BOTH pages), and I think when I tried to do stuff on the right page it was interacting with that rectangle. So when I placed an image, it was going into that rectangle. When I pressed ctrl + shift, that rectangle would be selected and it would look like everything else had disappeared. My solution was to have a separate rectangle for each side of the page spread (both left and right), and it seems to have fixed the issue. Another solution might be locking the background rectangle. Well anyways hope this helps someone someday.
I think we need some screen shots of the masters, pages, and Pages panel.
