    Image distortion in InDesign CS6

I have previously worked from this file, it has been saved as a PDF for print and displayed the images without any issue. The each of the images are at an angle but this wasn't a problem when working on the file before. However I opened it today (no changes have been made) and the edges in the images are distorted and look pixilated similar to a previous forum post here: newbie: rotated image pixilates

I am viewing the document on 'Overprint Preview', the images are all linked correctly, each image I have set to view at high quality, I have checked the resolution and ppi per image and again all are fine. I have tried to place the images into Photoshop, rotate and save as .tiff files but this still distorts the image. I have saved the file in different PDFs with the settings changed slightly in each but they all render the same whether its for print or web.

Has anyone else encountered this or know how to fix it?

Same file as the first image but off to the side of the document.

The original print PDF with exact same settings and no changes made to file.

      Thank you
