I'm writing a script that goes through every clip on a video track and creates subclips for all of them. Everything works fine in a 24fps or 30fps timeline but in a 23.976 timeline the subclip is 1 frame off. If my inpo is exactly 1.00 seconds, the created subclip starts at 1.001 wich appears to be the next frame. Also , the subclip is 1 frame longer. I'm using the trackitem.start.seconds to create my subclip. Anything I should do differently ?
thank you for your help!!
Does trackItem.start.ticks offer better precision?
seems to work.
I create an empty Time Object, and set its ticks property to clip.inPoint.ticks.
And it works.
