i use use iCloud Photo Library as I only want one library, I'd like to edit with Lightroom without having to save a copy/duplicate of every photo.
what iOS allows is replacing the original photo in the 'Photos' app rather than lots of copies.
there are 2 ways to do this saving from Lightroom over the original, or if Lightroom had a 'photos extension'.
this does not replace the original as it can be 'reverted to original' at any time.
CAN ADOBE ENABLE LIGHTROOM TO HAVE THIS LEVEL OF IOS INTEGRATION?
i assume a link to the original photos in iOS 'photos' would be required so it knows which edit relates to which original.
so any chance of a 'replace' option when saving, or a Lightroom extension?
Thanks, an interesting read but this isn't actually related to my question.
I am talking about the mobile version of Lightroom and iOS (not desktop LR on OS X).
All I would like to do is save over the original file rather than saving a copy into the 'camera roll'
I apologize for misunderstanding your issue.
But I can definitely pass on this feedback to our engineers so that they can try to integrate this feature.
