This is not a technical forum. You've somehow landed in the forum Lounge.
Most documents are either letter or legal size. There are exceptions of course, but that's the size most people use for printing. PDF is mainly a print document.
When you say your document is very, very, very long... just how big is it?
Give us more details:
- How large is your spread and your page?
- How do you create your PDF?
- Did you consider to scale the document?
- What ID version are you using?
Did you try View > Fit Spread in Window?
I thought I wrote something about that.
Great article Bob! And a lot of fun talk about units of measure.
thank you for the answers
well my spread is a meter and a half
the main use i have towards it is to use it as mainly a computer viewing file
before realising this problem i had as a deep imaginary wish to make a document which you can just scroll left and see its components
i am working on the latest indesin as well as in the latest acrobat
i create the pdf by exporting and i tried multiple option in compressing the document
but nothing really worked
acrobat can only accept a length of 50 cm length
so for now i have divided it into 3cut pages
i tried fit spread in window and it doesnt change
i think my problem is based on my lack of knowledge in exporting this or the non possibility to export such a long spread
