Premiere 10 on Mac - Increasingly unstable

Hi there, I have premiere elements installed on my mac running OSX10.11. Over the past 6 months the program has become increasingly unstable with the following issues:

      Compilation Error when save/rendering

      Crashing during editing

Video windows in the Projects not displaying (pixillated image only).

      Any solutions/updates???

How old is your computer? Does it have a Retina display?

You're using a pretty old version of the program on a newer operating system (and El Capitan has proven to be a challenge for a number of Adobe programs). Have you tried downloading the free trial of version 14 to see if it is more stable on your system?

One of the challenges with using a pre-version 11 version of the program is that a number of settings need to be set manually -- and, if you get them wrong, the program won't perform efficiently and may become unstable. Newer versions of the program don't have this problem.

What model of camcorder is your video coming from and what format and resolution is the video?

What are Project Settings, as displayed under the Edit menu?
