So, are you saying the php script is getting executed, and the die() function is called?
- see what's wrong with the server configuration for the mail() function
- if that doesn't help, please explain what this means: "...I try to send an email which doesn't work".
- is your
if(!mail(...reached at all?
You can't use PHP locally within a PhoneGap application. It will not run any server side languages.
Yes the whole script gets executed and the die function doesn't get hit. I have 2 domains on the hosting server. I attached the same file to both servers. I ran them both using the URL, they didn't need any parameters so they both just ran by calling the scripts using the URL. One sent the email and the other didn't. I can't see why one worked and the other didn't.
This doesn't sound like a PhoneGap issue, be rather a PHP and server configuration issue.
I have all my php files stored on the server so none are locally. I have 10 php files, this is the only one that doesn't work.
I am trying to get onto the 000webhost forums but won't let me register. I was just asking here in case someone had any experience with this before. I'll keep trying to register for the other forum
