    Image corruption in LR-CC

Running Mac, 10.11.6, latest CC version.

Ran across this: (Cropped to fit better)
Working in Lightroom and the right-hand section of the photo has the corruption all the way up the image.

The middle section only about halfway up the photo
      Left is properly rendered.

What causes this and how do I prevent?

This is caused by a hardware malfunction somewhere. It could be camera card, card reader, hard disk or memory. You need to try transferring the photos from the camera card to the computer using different hardware to see if you can isolate the problem, and if possible transfer the photos to an entirely different computer. Run diagnostics on your hard disk and memory.
