I am very new to Adobe lightroom and have only been using the program for a couple of weeks. It was working fine, initially, but now I can no longer make any changes to photos. When I try to change things like the exposure or the temperature using the sliding bars there are no visible changes to the photo. I can still crop photos, but that's about it. I have tried to reset the preferences to no success. Any help would be very appreciated.
If your screen is still the same as your screen-clip above, then you have the Gradient tool active, and it is waiting for you to drag a gradient across the image. (Note the gradient tool is slightly highlighted)
Click on the [Done] button to exit out of any active tool and the Basic module (global) sliders will be active again.
Thank-you so much, I am embarrassed that it was something so minor, but I couldn't for the life of me figure it out. As I've said, I am very new to the program and just working my through it via experimentation as opposed to reading a manual or anything along those lines.
Have a great day!
