    bugs dreamwaver 8.0.1

    1odette
      At the bottom of every page I have this line:

      <p>Derni&egrave;re modification:
      <!-- #BeginDate format:Fr1 -->25/04/06<!-- #EndDate -->
      </p>

      Sometimes when I save a page I got these lines (inside the page and in a random way):

      <p><a href="menu_principal_redirection.htm" accesskey="6" title=" [6] Pour acc&eacute;der au menu textuel">
      Menu tex<!-- #BeginDate format:Fr1 -->25/04/06<!-- #EndDate --> -->25/04/06<!-- #EndDate -->[7] Pour acc&eacute;der &agrave;
      la carte du site info radiologie">
      Carte du site</a>
      <a href="notice_legale.htm" accesskey="8" title=" [8] Pour acc&eacute;der au conditions d'utilisation du site info radiologie.ch">
      Conditions d'utilisations du site</a>
      <a href="glossaire_radiologie.htm" accesskey="9" title=" [9] Pour acc&eacute;der au glossaire du site info radiologie.ch">
      Glossaire</a>
      </p>
      <p><!-- #BeginDate format:Fr1 -->25/04/06<!-- #EndDate -->mat:Fr1 -->25/04/06<!-- #EndDate --></p>
      </div>
      </di><!-- #BeginDate format:Fr1 -->25/04/06<!-- #EndDate -->mat:Fr1 -->25/04/06<!-- #EndDate -->

      And I spend hours/days/weeks to clean up the code.

      Following instructions from Adobe Switzerland a new installation has been performed. Thent they told us it's a problem with PVII extension. Now they told us we are the only people on earth to get this problem.

      Dreamwaver 8.0.1 windos xp sp2
      Any idea about the origin of this problem?
      How to avoid that? fix that?

      best regards

          That's really REALLY sad. Do you have a name for that ridiculous assertion?

          Why not strip that date thing out and use a javascript routine?

            Hello,

            To clarify the thread I have no problem with PVII and they have a very friendly good professional support. Got energi, jazz05 ,key lime, Gee wizz scroller, PMM and TNM. No issue. No complain.

            Unfortunately got the problem mentionned above with dreamwaver 8. Followed every suggestion made by adobe zürich (switzerland) and no solution. So that we don’t believe too much what adobe zürich said. In our eyes they just lost their credibility.
            By now we cannot perform an update of the web site due to corrupted files. Date is important for us. The puropose of this thread is to find a way to avoid this issue and write the date at the bottom of page.

            The aim of this date is to know when a page was modified ( I mean: the content, and saved - by the editor). This date shoud be accessible to a reader. I’m not sure I understand your suggestion. Please could you give some hints /the java routine by PM ?

            Whatever the solution founded we will be happy…..
            Any help appreciated.
            Thanks in advance

            Best regards

              Are you using dynamic scripting on your site (asp; ASP.Net; PHP, etc)? If so, you can make the date a dynamic function and use a SSI to place it on your page. This way, when you modify and upload a new/updated page to the server, the date will automatically update.

                For the medical part of the web site we use HTML.
                Thanks for the suggestions. However seems to me if we want to use php or whatever now, we have to made some Rewriting (seatch engine).....
