    HDR merged photo overexposed

    merkk

      Hello,

I've just started playing around with HDR photos. For a start i tried taking some bracketed photos of my kitchen - sunny bright outside and just lighting from outside being used to light the kitchen.

Technically the image isn't really overexposed since since nothing is pure white. But the outside sections are a little brighter then what i think they should really look like. Is there any way to tweak the HDR merge process so that it goes a little darker on the outside portions of the image? Or do i need to do this tweaking after the merge? I did try creating an exposure mask but it looked horrible - you could clearly see the line where the mask started/ended.

      Thanks
