Pretty cool app, as far as display and presentation.
For the upload speed....
Without being positive, the first thing I would think of is using LoadVars
to send some large amount of POST data to the server.
Well, I should be able to print the upload speed, so I shoud be able to get TotalBytes, bytes sent every X seconds.
I think that Filereferce should be ok, but I don't understand how to choose a file without user. Being clear, I have a movieclip, so I should sent this to my server. Can I create a filereference with this movieclip?
Loadvars seems to be fine but with the method sendAndLoad can you send a movieclip? Can you check the upload getting the bytes sent every X seconds?
Can I attach a listener to my Loadvars object?
Can I send (with the method sendAndLoad ) a jpg file to my sever? In this way with the listener object (listener.onProgress) I could monitor upload process....
What do you think?
