Hi! I am trying to change the quantity of cells in the Library Mode/Grid View. Right now my only option is to either have one photo showing or to have eight photos across horizontally by pressing the command minus button. When I press command plus it goes back to only one photo. Previously (months ago), I had been able to view 3 - 4 photos across horizontally. How is it possible to vary the quantity/ratio of photos within the middle space? From 1 to 4 to 6, etc? Thank you for your help.
Press just the = and - keys, without adding Command. Those keys alone will change the thumbnail size for you; they are the shortcuts for View > Increase Grid Size and View > Decrease Grid Size.
When you press Command +, you're zooming into Loupe view and therefore exiting the Grid view. That's why you don't need to add the Command key if all you want to do is change the grid size.
You can also use the "Thumbnails" slider below the grid view to set the size of the images. Hit "T" if the toolbar is not visible. This will control how many images fit across.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate this help, so simple! I looked everywhere!
