    Zoom to fit problem

    garethd77418777

      Help!

      Using LR6.5.1 on 5k 27inch iMac running OSX 10.11.6

In LR print module after choosing zoom to fit and positioning image

to avoid cropping important details the resulting print to file image does not preserve the positioning and typically justifies the image along one edge (usually the wrong one!

Have just tried the same on LR4 running on an older iMac - same problem.

      Anyone have any ideas?

      Thanks.

First of all upgrade to the newest version of Lightroom which is LrCC 2015.6.1 or Lr 6.6.1.      I am using   LRcc2015.6.1 on 5k 27inch iMac running OS X 10.11.6 and the scenario you describe creates a file that is correct.

Hi Bob, thanks for that. The first file I tried that worked the next one not. However it suddenly dawned on me that the problem only occurred on files that had been zoomed to fit and ALSO rotated to fit. I've now created  a landscape and portrait version of my custom page and all is well! Does seem that there is an underlying bug there for the Adobe guys to look into tho.

            Thanks again,

I have tried all the combinations of "zoom to fit" and "rotate to fit" and can not get the print to file to not work correctly.  Maybe someone else can reproduce the problem.
