If the video from your GoPro is the first clip on your timeline, Premiere Elements 14 should automatically set up its project to match that video's specs.
When you add video from this GoPro as the first clip on your timeline, do you see a yellow orange "render" line above the clip? If the program is matching the project settings to your video, you should NOT see this render line.
If you do see this render line, then double-check what your video format settings are in your GoPro. Your camcorder is capable of shooting in a large number of resolutions and frame rates. The program should have no problem working with 1920x1080p60 MP4s.
When i'm just applying videos from my gopro, i do not se any coloured line. But why does my pictures get grainy when playing the film in elements?
Based on what you've told me, it shouldn't. Have you right-clicked on the Monitor panel and set the preview quality to highest?
Go to the Edit menu and open Project Settings. What settings are listed on the General page?
How grainy is it? Is it only grainy when the video is playing or when it is stopped also?
Can you post a screen capture of the program?
i'm sorry for wasting your time .. I've just tried to export a movie, and i looks like the outcome is fine
Sorry, but thank you so much for the help
