I am using Lightroom version 6.6.1. When I try to publish some photos to an album on Facebook I get an error message that states the following: "Photo upload failed. Returned error from Facebook: (#200) Requires extended permission: publish_actions"
What should I do to correct this error? I don't know if this is a problem within Lightroom or some setting in Facebook I need to change. Can anyone help?
On the article you referred to the links with the answers no longer exist: (http://onlytipsandtricks.com/facebook/facebook-application-development-with-open-graph/ and http://onlytipsandtricks.com/facebook/how-to-publish-actions-on-timeline/ ).
Also, I will add that I find it hard to believe that consumer users of this product are expected to understand this sort of gibberish:
So user is already logged in and authenticated and token generated, then the AS3 post_to_timeline_btn click handler code is:
var params:Object = new Object()
params.movie = "http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117500/";
params.action_token = xxxxxxxx;
I am not a computer programmer. Do all users have to go through this process or is my version of Lightroom just defective? I just bought this new a couple of days ago and if this is typical of how this program is to be used, I'm not impressed.
