I have accumulated some files on my C/Drive in the same folder that holds my 'Lightroom Catalogue.lrcat-journal' and 'Lightroom Catalogue Previews.lrdata' files. There are two types of file and there are fifteen of each. They are called...
It looks as though they were created when I was experiencing a horrendous problem with Lightroom failing to open the import window. I've now fixed that problem. I found these redundant(?) files when I was looking for .lock files.
Is it safe to delete these files now?
If these files were created today, I'd tell you to leave them there as lightroom should clean them up, but If they are old files and are not in use then it is safe to delete them.
The files were created yesterday when I had the import problem. I think I'll wait a month and delete them then, unless Lightroom has already cleaned them up.
