You can include such screenshots directly in a message, if you use your Desktop computer and use the website version of the forum message reply. Here is what was on the dropbox link, reduced in size somewhat by opening with Internet Explorer (or another browser) and making a screenshot of that:
There is one other report of excessive noise-reduction being applied to the DNG. Can you upload the original DNG to Dropbox and include a link, here?
Here is the link to the original dng: Dropbox - 2016-09-19 10-13-59 +1000.dng
it does look a lot like excessive noise reduction, there is a colour fade as well that i've been seeing, really noticable when editing a picture with blue eyes.
The DNG looks ok on my LR Mobile on a Samsung Galaxy S6 phone, but there is not sharpening available, so it looks a little less sharp than in the Desktop LR which does have default sharpening applied.
LR Mobile - Galaxy S6:
Try making a slight adjustment to your LR Mobile, Exp +1 then back down Exp 0, and see if it sharpens up.
I have already tried sharpening and it does not get it back to anything like the original and the colours are still faded. Could this be an issue with LR mobile running on the new iPhone?
Are you running the latest LR Mobile 2.5 for iOS? My LR Mobile on my Android is only 2.1.1 if that explains why it might be different.
The colors being faded are possibly due to severe color-NR being applied. Can you back off the NR to 0 for both Lum and Color (if those are adjustments you have available) and see if the color detail looks better.
Hi there, I don't have any noise reduction options available to me in the mobile app. And yes I am using the most recent version of the app.
Is there anything else you can think of that i can try?
