I have Lightroom and Photoshop CC, on a PC. I use both programs on a daily basis, for work. Up until today, I've never had a problem with the "edit in Photoshop" command. I imported an entire wedding this morning, and all of a sudden, when I tried to use the command, instead of the usual "edit original, edit copy, etc" window, a file explorer window opens up.
This only happens with the files from today- all other files open into Photoshop without a problem.
I tried updating both programs, uninstalling and reinstalling both. I checked my external editor settings in Lightroom.
Nothing has changed about the way I imported the files into Lightroom this morning. I import as a DNG copy.
I did change the color setting on my camera for this wedding, from Adobe RGB to sRGB. That's the only thing that's different.
Does anyone know what I can do to make the "edit in Photoshop" work seamlessly again?
Please reset Lightroom preferences back to default and check if that helps.
Press the shift + option keys immediately after you restart Lightroom, and select Reset Preferences from the resulting dialog box.
I tried resetting my Lightroom preferences and it is still doing the same thing.
