InDesign CC not showing up in Extensions Manager

    NIRC Level 1

When I open Extension Manager CC (Windows 10), it comes up without any programs showing. This means I cannot install an expensive extension I just purchased.

I ran Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit CC with "BridgeTalk.__diagnostics__;"

Here are the results (where InDesign CC shows up as a "target":

Any ideas on how to fix this. I uninstalled and reinstalled Extensions Manager several times, rebooting each time, but to no avail.

Did you try to install it again? Start to install the Extension Manager again.

If that does not work, uninstall everything, run Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool (you get it on their download page), and install everything clean again. Save before all settings, actions in Photoshop, Swatches, etc.

Thanks for the reply. I recognize your name as someone who has helped me before, some years back.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Extensions Manager three times, rebooting at each stage. I am a little anxious about uninstalling everything with Creative Cloud. Does it ONLY uninstall the CC programs or does it uninstall the CS6 programs as well? I really want to avoid the latter.

Also, once I have uninstalled, may I assume that the Creative Cloud will still recognize me as registered and let me reinstall.

I should mention something odd: the exact same thing happens on a second computer where InDesign CC is installed. I mean exact same thing. This leads me to doubt that the problem was on my end...

I will wait for your thoughts before taking the plunge.

I followed the instructions for Removing Creative Cloud Cleaner tool (Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems ) and then reinstalled InDesign CC and Extensions Manager CC. Then I opened the Extensions Manager (as administrator) and found that there is still nothing showing. I also noticed that all my scripts and other preferences under Roaming...\Version 11.0\ en_US as well as under the InDesign Plugins subdirectory were all there--even though I had instructed the Cleaner NOT to save the preferences.

ExtensioManager has been discarded by Adobe since CC(2014 I think) so now you need to distribute your extensions through Adobe Addons. Otherwise you can decide to distribute extension yourself but then client will have to either use the command line tool or install them manually.
