I have a few system monitors running to help me see red flags before they happen. Lately with the most recent After Effects CC 2015.3, I've been noticing that after the usual spike in memory from rendering out a Composition, the RAM will stick at 80% usage. I double checked and it is still AfterFX.exe that is using 31.7 GB of RAM even when it's idle. It's holding onto the RAM until I fully exit out the program and reload the project.
Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot what is causing this possible Memory Leak?
I also may mention that the spike in RAM is more of a slow crawl up to speed, and while it isn't affecting render times too much, it's more worrying that I may run into problems with larger projects.
Some computer stats.
CPU: Intel i7-5930K 3.50 GHz
RAM: 48GB DDR4
GPU: Nvidia Titan X
System Drive: 1tb Crucial SSD with over 30% free
Cache Drive: 500GB Samsung 850 Evo M.2

As I recall, it's done this ever since the earliest version of AE I've used. When it's rendering, it's caching the preview to RAM just as if you were doing a preview. You can use the clear cache and memory command if you really want to, but there shouldn't be a need to.
