Cut and paste retaining style names in Indesign

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum.

I have a question regarding Cut and paste in Indesign: let's say I have two documents.

      - In the first one I have many paragraph style rules, let's say style1, style2, style3.

      - In the second document I have exactly the same paragraph style names (style1, style2, style3), but different formatting rules (e.g. in doc1 style1 is Times 13, in doc2 the same style1 is Minion 11).

What I would like to do is to copy text from document 1, retaining paragraph style's name only, but not the styles' formatting definition. So when I past the copied text in document 2, I can have text automatically styled with document 2 formatting rules.

I can't find a way to do this: I can cut&past retaining formatting, but not syles names only.

Is anyone facing this problem and/or have a solution?

Thank you in advance for your help.
