      Hello,

I am a 3d Artist. I do renderings with 3ds Max. Once in a while, we are also doing animation.

For edeting an composeting I use Aftereffects CC 2015.

My Workstation is pretty good for 3ds Max and I thing it also should work fine for After Effects.

But I have big trouble to work with After effects. The preview rendering is VERRY SLOW.  Even when its on halv quality.

I tried different settings in After effects. I also changed the preference the preview CPU to GPU. Than I good a second hard drive (500 GB SSD) just for the project files.

Here is my Hardware mybe someone can give me a hint....

      Mainboard: ASUS - Z9PE-D8 WS

      CPU: 2 x Intel Xeon E5 2650 v2

      Memory: 64 GB

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X (12 GB)

Hard drive: 1x SSD - 238 GB for the system (54,5 GB are free)

1x SSD - 500 GB just for the projektfiles (After Effects)

Would be great to get any tips.

      Cheer Florian
