    Missing pages

      Dear all,

I used CS3 and after an Upgrade CS5. My PC crashed a while ago and after the crash I reinstalled CS5. Since the reinstallation sth is not working properly but we can't identify the root of the problem. Here's what happens:

I open an indd-file in InDesign CS5 as usual but I get only part of the file's pages displayed. E.g. the indd-document has 12 pages but when I open the file on my PC, InDesign only displays 4 pages (beginning and end of document).

My colleagues opened the same file/document on their PCs and got the whole file displayed, so nothing is actually missing but some pages are not displayed properly.

Do you have any idea how I can solve this issue?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Did you try to export the file as IDML, open that and save as new file? There is some corruption with your file, so expect some items are wrong.

Better would be in you case, if you have CS3 still available on any computer to open that file and export as INX in CS3, open that INX and save as new INDD and repeat it with CS5 and IDML.
