We are having issues with InDesign CS6 and K4. There are a lot of crashes and application hangups. Often times, an error message tries to load, but only shows a white screen with no text and hitting return opens an error message: "InDesign is shutting down, return to finder". We need to figure out if the error is with InDesign itself, with the plugin, the connection to the server, or the server itself.
The machine is a MacBook Pro Retina with the following specs:
Version : 10.11.6
Processor : 2.5 GHz i7
Memory : 16 GB DDR3
Graphics : AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB
If you can let me know what information you would need (log files, etc.) to either determine it is InDesign or to rule it out, that would be great. If you have a full list of troubleshooting steps, let me know and I'll go through them.
CS6 is not supported under El Capitan. Revert your OS or upgrade to InDesign CC2015.
