Earlier versions of the program had no problem doing this. There seems to be no problem bringing in jpgs created elsewhere, but since much of my work is done in PhotoPaint, this is really becoming a burden. Many of these files are quite small, so I am pretty certain size is not an issue.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
There may be a Jpeg output setting in PhotoPaint that was changed accidentally by you.
To the best of my knowledge PhotoPaint is an obsolete product and Corel doesn't sell PhotoPaint any longer.
I suspect that may be the problem here as well. That and PE 11 hasn't received any updates since version 12 was released about 3 years ago.
You may be forced to open those images in another program and exporting them as a Jpeg using other codecs.
I would investigate Jpeg out put settings closely first.
Thanks for the suggestions. They led me to the solution: The default output for PhotoPaint is apparently CMYK. I changed that to RGB, and that solved the problem.
BTW, PhotoPaint is not obsolete. The latest version has just been offered with the newest CorelDraw Graphics Suite.
