I installed Lightroom 6.
I migrated my iPhoto library onto Lightroom.
But somehow I have duplicates of all my pictures in Lightroom 6.
And I can't seem to pull up other pictures from other folders in my computer to download them into Lightroom.
I just want to uninstall Lightroom completely and reinstall it from scratch.
It's too messed up the way it is and I just want to start over.
I have an iMac running OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
Can you tell me how to uninstall it?
I'll watch the online help to get it reinstalled.
Uninstalling / reinstalling is not going to change anything.
All the work you do in LR is saved to the catalog (which is not affected by uninstalling), so you should create a new catalog if you want to start over. (File > New)
To get pictures from folders on your computer into LR you have to import them - LR is not like a file browser that you can point to a folder and see the contents.
As for the duplicates from iPhoto. I'm not a Mac user, so I can't help you with that.
