Download the AIR Runtime installer. Open a terminal.cd the Installer directory.
Try the following command to uninstall the Runtime:
"./Adobe AIR Installer.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe AIR Installer" -uninstall
If the uninstalling works, then install the Runtime again.
This is the same problem I have. Can someone explain exactly what to do in terminal step by step? I don't yet understand how it works. I'm on a mac if that makes any difference. For instance, what's terminal.cd?
Terminal is the application you can find in Applications/Utilities folder.
After you download the AIR Runtime, double click on the AdobeAIR.dmg file to mount the disk image. You can copy the Adobe AIR Installer file
to your home directory( then you don't need to use the command cd).
Launch Terminal. Then type in the command and hit return.
