I have purchased Adobe Premire Elements 14 and have installed it on my 64 bit Windows 7 PC w/ Service Pack 1 and it has an i7 processor. When I open the Video Editor application, I am prompted with a window that is titled: "PSADriverWindow: Adobe Premire Elements.exe - System Error". The message of the window box is "The program can't start because CFHDDecoder64.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem".
However, when it uninstall and reinstall Adobe. I still get this message.
Please help me with this issue ASAP or I am returning the software to get my refund.
Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions may help... says Encore, but sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account)
I opened the advanced properties and checked the "Run As Administrator", per the link. This still fails with Premiere Elements 15. The program will open and run for a while, then it crashes (white screen).
I am having the same problem.
