Since updating to the latest version of Lightroom CC (2015) some weeks ago I have been unable to start Lightroom. If I try either the desktop icon or the Open command from within Creative Cloud it just wont do anything.
I am running a PC with Windows 10 - up until the last upgrade everything was fine.
I have tried the signing out "fix" identified on other forums - when I do this it takes me through the opening sequence of licensing the product or trying for 7 days then it just fails again. I have tried to remove the CC Lightroom Licence. I have tried reinstalling.the software.
My Photoshop CC works just fine.
Please help - terribly frustrating!
I have removed an old copy of LR 4.4 and have a standalone version of 5.7 (which runs but is out of date)
Could you please go to Control Panel > Program & Features and repair Microsoft Visual C++ 2012, 2013 & 2015
Restart the computer and then try to open Lightroom and please let us know if it works.
