Dynamic Change to Y When X is Selected

While recently browsing the Sports Illustrated digital magazine on my iPad, I came across a page in the magazine that I would love to be able to replicate in some way with inDesign.

This page has what could be described as a grid/table with about 16 writers on the left side of the page and on the right side of the page is a twitter timeline. By default, when you have not "tapped" upon any writer it shows the default SI timeline, but when you "tap" on a writer, the timeline on the right changes to the writer's individual twitter timeline.

      Might this be possible?

Ideally, I would have a list/pictures of writers/contributors on one side and when you click on them, the twitter timeline on the other side of the page would dynamically change to the person selected.

Any help, guidance, or "not possible, you're crazy" if my idea is off-base would be greatly appreciated.
