By default, the Folders panel in the Library does not show the directory tree as a proper tree like Finder/Explorer does.
From the Folders panel, right-click on a low-level folder and do a "show parent". Repeat as needed upwards in the tree.
I get this error anytime I try to click show parent folder, and this option is only available on my main folder and the new 2016 folder that appears on the same level as the master folder.
An internal error has occurred.
Database "/Users/carlos/Pictures/Lightroom/Lightroom Catalog-2.lrcat": UNIQUE constraint failed: AgLibraryFolder.rootFolder, AgLibraryFolder.pathFromRoot
Statement: UPDATE AgLibraryFolder SET rootFolder = ?,pathFromRoot = ? WHERE id_local = ?; (error code 19)
Having the same problem, using Dropbox to sync my original fotos. How to merge the folder into the right tree structure?
I solved this by moving the originals in the finder and in lightroom link it to the new folder. The problem is when Lightroom shows me the same subfolder twice. Have to move the fotos manually
Quite possibly you've encountered the "capitalisation" issue, which is quite common. But need to see screenshots and that link you provided isn't working (you can add the screenshots directly into your forum post, provided you're not posting by email, no need to mess around with Word and Dropbox).
