InDesign CC (2015.4.1) crashes on launch

I'm running Yosemite 10.10.5. I was having a font conflict in my InDesign document and I left the warning window on screen when I switched over to Firefox to try to find a troubleshooting idea when InDesign crashed. From that moment on it will not even open, but crashes on launch. I've already trashed my preferences, run FontDoctor and quarantined the corrupted fonts, uninstalled and reinstalled, and run Disk Verification.

I get a huge report, but this appeared on the System Information Software Log:

Oct 2, 2016, 11:26:33 AM Adobe InDesign CC 2015[999]: *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '-[NSPathStore2 stringByResolvingSymlinksAndAliases]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x600000e7c140'

Any suggestions welcome! I am desperate to get this working on my iMac.

      Thank you!
