Mac or Windows? What version?
What exact NUMBER version of Lightroom (see the help/system-info menu)?
What is the exact wording of the error message you are getting?
HI Maniac Joe,
up to date, mac, no message, its just when originally downloaded Nik Collection to Lightroom it automatically went straight into Lightroom and ready to use, now its not there and when I've downloaded this again 4/5 times (Uninstalled it) and installed it will not go into L/R, i don't understand why?

In the develop module right click on the image and hover over "Edit In" from the list. A second list should pop up that will have the NIK plugins. If they aren't there then go to the LR preferences and the External Editing tab and in the second, lower, area you can define them there.

Hi Paul. Under the "Presets" tab of the preferences, have you checked "Store presets with this catalog". If this is checked, all NIK filters will disappear from the "Edit In" menu. Hope that helps.
Thank you holgermiskephoto,
Untucked that Box and Boom all there, once again Thanks a lot (pulling my hair out, not that I've got Much) !!
I use an "external catalog SSD" for my LR catalog and previews, to be able to plug it into different computers.
Hence I have checked "store presets with this catalog", in order not to have to keep them in sync on different computers, but to have them on tha SSD as well.
I would like to have the Nik Collection installed on it as well.
Is that possible?
i don't think that would work, since Lightroom's behaviour would be the same. But do feel free to try and report back what happened.
Have a good evening
