Good evening everyone,
I'm looking into enhancement methods for youtube videos that I'm posting.
They're +/- 1 hour long, which brings me to the usual conflict of Quality VS size.
I'm currently creating MP4 - H264 videos of 1920x1080p, 25fps, audio AAC 192kbps, giving me a video of around 1Go/hour.
I've heard of pro-solutions like the matrox compressor card for better quality and lower file-size, and I'm simply wondering if it would be compatible with PREL? (and if not, then what would?).
I'm currently using PREL13 on windows 7 and an i7-2600.
Thanks alot !
Whatever you put up, YouTube is going to re-encode -- so there's no point in worrying about quality vs size. It's irrelevant.
Just put an optimized video up. A file optimized for YouTube will look as good as your original and yet will not be excessively large.
To create an optimized file in version 13, go to Publish & Share/Computer/AVCHD and select the preset for YouTube HD.
Thank you Steve !
