Ow no typed it in Dutch by accident, going to translate it now to English and repost here
I can't find an edit button so I retyped in English here
Good day people,
I have a question and i hope someone can help me.
With scripting I couple content in cells within a table to content within an xml file.
As can be seen in the image above in this case the first cell is coupled with an assetid which i give to it when it is coupled.
Now I want to uncouple the cell. The same effect as when you click in indesign at ‘structure’ with a right click from the mouse and then click on asset_id_5380 and then choose ‘remove labels element’.
The first cell resides within the variable: xmlElement
So to ad a tag I have for example something like the following:
xmlElement.xmlAttributes.add("Name: ", "value");
Now it would seem to me that instead of ‘add’ I could use something like delete. But for now I haven’t found the solution.. Can someone tell me what to do to remove those tags? Thank you
Not sure if you want to remove the attribute or the element itself but iun both case youc can call the remove method:
myXMLElement.remove() //or myXMLAttribute.remove()
