Might help to see your config.xml (minus identifying information/secret information). Also share your App ID so that PGB staff can take a direct look.
App ID is 1201878 and here is the config.xml.
That`s it. Now it was built successfully.
Just another question. Is it correct that phonegap only supports Windows Phone 10 ? The AppxManifest.xml header looks like:
<Package IgnorableNamespaces="uap mp build" xmlns:mp="http://schemas.microsoft.com/appx/2014/phone/manifest" xmlns:uap="http://schemas.microsoft.com/appx/manifest/uap/windows10" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/appx/manifest/foundation/windows10" xmlns:build="http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/appx/2015/build">
And we can`t deploy the downloaded *.appx via Windows Phone Application Deployment 8.1 onto our device with Windows Phone 8.1, because "Error in XML Document (2,2)" shows up.
same problem here. When I do a local build and then Visual Studio to compile the same project, everything works fine - only the phonebuild built appx file is having the issue where the deployment via command line or UI fails with "error in xml". I'm using windows 8.1 phone and I am setting the following statements relevant to windows in config.xml (all my plugin statements were upgraded to the npm format):
<preference name="windows-appx-target" value="8.1-phone" />
<preference name="windows-arch" value="arm" />
<engine name="windows" spec="~4.1.0" />
build works fine, only deployment fails. also it is the same problem when windows-arch preference is set to anycpu.
