    android version code

      I cannot get Google Play to accept my apk-release. The message states that the version code must be greater than 10. Currently I see on the Google page:

      version code

      10(6.0.0)

      In my config file,  I now have

      version="6.0.0"

      android-versionCode="12"

      The actual version is only 3.0.0 and I have used any number of different "codes" for both numbers.  I thought the version was to be the actual number that represented one's updates. But what does the android versionCode represent and what numbers should I put in the file?

      This is not the first time I've had  trouble with this issue. I end up putting in random numbers until the file is accepted. This is not the right way to go about it.

      Does anybody know what is going on here?
