Tethering is currently only supported with the cameras listed in here: A list of cameras that can be tethered to Lightroom.
Adobe does not communicate it's plans, so nobody here knows if your camera will be supported one day.
Fujifilm produce their own plug-in for tethering with Lightroom.
Hey, great adding - Thanks
Since I'm not using a Fujifilm, I haven't noticed this.
That's great many thanks.... I have downloaded the software and lightroom now recognises that a camera is plugged in but gives the error message.....
"A camera is connected, but the USB MODE setting of the camera is not in one of the PC SHOOT modes.
Please unplug the USB cable and go to the cameras set up menu. Choose one of the PC SHOOT modes."
I can't find anything in the manual about PC shoot modes or how to set them up. Anyone have any idea how to do this???
Do you have an USB mode or alike (setting may be MTP, PTP, ...)? Try this.

Actually the X-T2 doesn't support tethering yet. We'll have to wait for a firmware-update which adds support and the corresponding setting in the menu.
Thank you for letting me know....
