I am paying a subscription fee yes
Do you have a serial number for Lightroom 6? Did you at one time actually purchase LR 6?
If you sign out of your Lightroom 6 (Help->Sign Out) and then sign in to the Adobe Creative Cloud app using the e-mail address you used when you purchased Lightroom CC, does the software now say Lightroom CC?

I did that, it still says lightroom 6
I used to own the standalone lightroom, but now pay for the subscription,. I have previously had the dehaze button, so I must have had it working before. .
Ok, so I signed out again, and then back in on the cloud, and now it seems to be working!!
