I delete the CoreSync database files and it seems to have solved my problem.
Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app.
<Mac Hard Drive>/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSyncSync
And delete any file that has *.db (or a variation such as *.db-wal)
Restart the Creative Cloud desktop app.
It sounds like you've resolved the problem, but I wanted to check in with you because I also saw your in-app feedback email (I responded there as well).
Please let me know how things are going.
I managed to get the disabled sync button to work on my computer – But now its disabled again.. So the problem actually remains unsolved.
The app is also still stuck on ‘Contacting server’, last attempt was 07.44 today (Norwegian time).
Can you contact me through the in-app feedback? (There should be an email from me, and one of our engineers also responded last night.) I think at this point we need to get some information from you.
I found out that my IT guy haven’t paid for creative cloud storage and services – I assume this is why its not working?
