CS4 compatible with new MAC OS Sierra?

Hi! I have the option to update my MAC OS El Capitan to the new Sierra. I want to know that my CS4 is compatible before doing so. I called Apple and they could not give me a definitive answer. Anyone know for sure whether it is or isn't? Thanks, Marilyn

Note - CS6 and earlier will not be updated by Adobe to be compatible with new Mac or Windows operating systems, so update at your own risk of problems

I hope so, or I'll have to find a replacement for my Adobe apps.
