HTML working fine on localhost, but not online

    Marquam Level 1

After updating Muse to latest version my sites doesn't work online - only see a clear white site (the HTML source is online, you can see in browser). Local on my mac, the same site loaded manually, still runs perfect. It seems that some js block the site.

Everytime I loaded the HTML files via Dreamweaver, because I have sometimes to add a few support files, which I can't integrate in Muse.

Why doesn't the site runs online? No error messages and every file seems to be online.

      Looking at: 2016.marquam.de

      Regards,

      Dennis Hock

          Hello Dennis,

Check this thread Updating one page on my Muse site  which will help you with its upload.

Hi, I found it by searching. Just tried it but it still doesn't run. Now I am going to generate a new subdomain and upload again. I'll leave a feedback then ...

                Hi, it almost doesn't run.

                watching:

Homepage  (old version of muse) = running

2016b.marquam.de (new version) = not running

I think its gonna be the new js in head (some kind of verification?)

                  Hello,

I can see that you have used a third party widget in the page scripts used in the widget are causing the issue. Please remove the widget from the page in the latest muse version and then publish the site and check if it loads fine.

                  Regards,

                  Vivek

I am having the same problem. I created a site for my client in Muse, and I use Dreamweaver to upload the site to the client’s server. Each time I delete all of the old file and then upload the entire site, just to make sure that all modified files are uploaded. This method has always worked in the past. The last update was 10/22/15. But now when I try to upload the site, it does not work. All I see is a clear blank page. I tried viewing with several different browsers with the same result.

Now when I look at the index.html from the previous site files, the source looks good.

When I look at index.html from the newly revised file (with Dreamweaver) there is some strange comment in the head. about the javascript. Here is what it looks like:

                      <script type="text/javascript">

Can you share the url  or .muse file  that is loading blank so that we can take a look at it to find the possible root-cause.

On businesscatalyst it works fine but not on other webspace especially on subdomains. Got the same problem when I update the website of my dog: in that page are no third party elements an it also sho a blank white page ...

Does this other host server have a name i.e, godady or is it a private server maintained in house?

Its appears to me at this point that the error is at that end so not a muse issue
