The file transfer code for iOS does not automatically add the image to the devices photo library. That is why you are not seeing it in the Camera Roll. You would have to use a plugin like cordova-plugin-save-image to add it to the camera roll much in the same way you force a re-scan on Android to pick up the image.
Thanks for your answer!
In the past we didn't have to do anything to add the image to the photo library.
But we'll look into it. Any pointers on how to do that (the re-scan)?
(cordova-plugin-save-image saves only jpeg(s) so it's not good enough for us)
Thank you again!
Yes. It might, thank you!
Though the documentation is a bit short...
How to I add it to the xml for phonegap when building in build.phonegap.com?
The same way you include any other plugin from npm, which doesn't require any parameters:
<plugin name="the-plugin-name" />
See the Configuring>Plugins section of the PGB Docs.
OK, so I've tried all the plugins available before this one and every code snippet out there from stackoverflow, and this is the ONLY ONE that works!
Saved us after a week of agony!
which of the two was the only one that worked ?
save us a week of agony, too :-)
