100 W 10th Ave, Eugene, OR We'll meet for the tour at the 3rd floor desk.
The new Maker Hub ( Media Lab and Maker Space) that opened in March 2016 at the Eugene Public Library, is an incredible resource for local designers, full of equipment and software free and available to use with your library card. Resources include a wide array of hardware (3D printer, 3D scanner, DSLR camera, wide format inkjet printer, pen and touch tablets, photo printer, instruments and AV recording equipment) and software (Adobe CC, design, illustration, photo editing, programming, web and game design).
The EUGIDUG is getting an exclusive tour of the facility with librarian Matt McNeer, who will be showing us around and explaining what's available. We'll also hear about other library resources that may be of particular interest to designers.
