I have exported a slideshow in PDF and saved it while I was playing it in Lightroom and it worked fine without stopping the slideshow in Lightroom.
Is that the same thing you trying to do at your end. if possible please share the screenshot for the problem.
Thank you Mohit, but no that's not what I'm trying to accomplish. I want to give the slide show to someone and have them play it. So I exported it from Lightroom as a PDF. When I open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat and play the slideshow it plays fine, but doesn't loop. I would like it to loop until I tell it to stop. I saw an option in the slideshow options for "repeat". I put a checkmark on that feature, but that doesn't seem to carry over to the PDF file. Maybe the loop function is something that I have to do in Adobe Acrobat when I play it?

Just to be clear, setting the Acrobat preferences as shown above by Mohit only affects the machine where you are setting these preferences. If you send the file to someone else, who doesn't have this set, it won't loop.
The preferences are machine oriented, not file oriented.
Thank you gentlemen, it's working just the way I hoped. You're the Bomb!!!!
