Please add the code below in the "HTML for head" section of the page.
<meta name="format-detection" content="telephone=no">
This will prevent tablet and phone from auto detecting phone number format.
You can add this code from Page > Page Properties >Metadata > HTML for Head
this is part of the phone | tablet software... the work around posted above should fix it on most systems but ime you are better off remaking the site design phone number as a buttion
Thank you VivekP for the tip!
But I think this solution is little hard, Kinda liked the the concept of the Dialer function
It just need a little attention, because it's an interpretation by the phone | tablet software, It doesn't know where one phone number begins or ends
Well, I see that phone number as a hyperlink in desktop browser as well!
Here is the code which is rendered in browser (<a class="nonblock" href="tel:22596931" title="Ligar para escritório">21 2259 6931</a>) . Looks like you have hyperlinked it.
One more simple step you can try would be selecting a system font for the phone number, which will convert the text into an image and can make it undetectable?
